Equipment I wish I had!

About

I started with a 99 cent plastic camera that I bought with my own money when I was about 8 years old.  After it inevitably broke my mum took pity on me and gave me her old folding Kodak camera.  No light meter ( I used the sunny f / 16 rule for years), manual focus, and I got 8 shots per roll.

Eventually I graduated to a SLR in 1974 and used it and Kodachrome 25 for several years.  Better cameras came along and I switched to full digital in 2009.

My photographic interests are quite broad; I enjoy photographing just about any subject - although the past few years I have been concentrating on Auto racing during the Spring, Summer and Fall, and Macro work during the Winter.

I hope you enjoy this look at some of my photos.
